Chapter 9

"My. Life. Rocks."
Those were the words going thru Matt McDillion's head as he watched numerous new stations, all of them having a story on the mighty Captain Thunderbolt, aka himself.
When the Captain came onto the scene a week ago and started beating on bad guys, he became an idol to the public faster than Matt expected. Some people saw him as a savior sent down from heaven. There was even a online fan club for him (That Matt had set up under the user name thunderboltfan90210).
"I guess people really do want someone to take control." Matt said, grinning more like a villian than a hero.
"I couldn't agree more." said a voice that was not Matt's. As soon as he heard it, Matt lept out of his chair and saw there was someone in his house (that had been paid for by city, in honor of his "public service")!
The man in question was tall, african-american, bald, had some face fuzz, and was wearing a black suit and sunglasses.
"It seems you've been getting alot of fan mail, Captian." The man spoke with a very smug attidude, as if he could take Matt in a fight.
"So you know who I am, yet you break into my home. That means you are very brave, or you want to die."
"What? Oh, right. Introductions. Sorry. My name is Agent Block, and do I have a deal for you..."
